These terms cover using Cheff.fit at cheff.fit, on the free plan or on Pro. By making an account you agree to them. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.

What Cheff.fit is

Cheff.fit is a food log and meal planner. Calorie and nutrient figures, from a photo, a label, a description or a recipe, are estimates. They are general information, not medical or dietary advice. Check ingredients yourself if you have an allergy, and talk to a professional before making big changes to what you eat.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
Don't use Cheff.fit to break the law, to get around its daily limits (for example with throwaway accounts), or to put load on it that stops it working for others. We may suspend an account that does.
What you log and save stays yours. You let us store and process it to run the app, as the privacy policy describes.

Free plan

The free plan costs nothing and needs no card. Its daily limits are shown in the app and on the home page, and we may change them.

Pro subscription

Price and billing. Pro is a subscription. The price is shown before you pay and is charged in advance, monthly or yearly depending on the option you pick, until you cancel.
Payment. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see your card number.
Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period. Profile shows the next renewal date.
Price changes. If the price changes, we tell you before it applies, and it applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, the payment is retried for a while and you keep Pro in the meantime. If it still can't be collected, your account goes back to the free plan.

Cancelling

Cancel any time: Profile → Manage subscription → Cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. After that your account goes back to the free plan. Nothing is deleted: plans you made stay readable, and you can still delete them.

Refunds

Payments are not refunded for a period you have started, including when you cancel part way through it. If you were charged by mistake, or charged after cancelling, email [email protected] from the address on your account within 30 days and we will refund it. None of this limits any right to cancel or to a refund that the law where you live gives you.

Deleting your account

Email [email protected] from the address on the account. We cancel any subscription and delete your data within 30 days, as the privacy policy says.

Changes and availability

We work to keep Cheff.fit running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we update the date above and tell Pro subscribers before the change applies to them.
